Dr. McFarland’s decision to become a chiropractor was due to the relief he experienced first-hand as a youth. As a child he was involved in multiple auto accidents which prompted his parents to take him to be checked by a chiropractor. The chiropractor checked his spine, and after just a few months of care, his family was amazed that the regular chiropractic adjustments had also given their son relief from his chronic ear and sinus infections. Dr. McFarland was able to optimize his health without the use of drugs or surgery, so there were no side effects. His improvement resulted in not having tubes put in his ears for a third time. You see, that is what chiropractic is all about! Remove the interference (subluxation), and let your body heal itself, naturally.
Dr. McFarland received his doctorate in 2000 from Life University, College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. He then moved back home to Michigan and put his knowledge to use at some of the largest chiropractic offices in the state.
Dr. McFarland now enjoys owning his own practice in beautiful Tecumseh, Michigan, and having his family be part of the community. He and his wife, Charlotte, are raising two daughters. Lauren and Madeline are in elementary school in Tecumseh.
As an active member in the community, he supports the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce. Dr. McFarland can be seen around town enjoying many of the events this wonderful area has to offer.
Dr. McFarland also reserves time to attend continuing educational seminars, in order to bring the latest advancements in the chiropractic profession back to his office. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors.
